Ludwigia Inclinata is an attractive, fast growing plant that originates in Central and South America and may be found growing within marshes to waters with a rapid current. Ludwigia inclinata’s leaves range in color from lime-green to violet and red.
Ludwigia Inclinata coloration depends on the amount of light and nutrients it receives; if this species does not get enough nutrients and light, its colours will become less vibrant and will fade.

Propagation: Cuttings
To propagate the Ludwigia Peruensis, simply cut branches or the top of the plant, and plant the stem into the substrate. Be sure to remove the leaves from the last node on the bottom of the stem to insure proper root growth. Natural reproduction occurs during the warm season when the plant is fully mature. At this time, it will develop small, vibrant yellow flowers above the water’s surface. Shortly thereafter, seeds will develop and drop to the substrate, where they will begin to grow into a new plant
