The PondMAX Backup Battery Box PS1700 is perfect for running in overcast conditions or at night. Suitable for the PS1700 & PS3500 solar pump.

Enhance the efficiency of your solar pump with the PondMAX Solar Pump Battery Backup Box, specifically designed for the PS3500 solar pump. This backup box ensures your pump keeps running during low light conditions or at night, providing uninterrupted water flow for your pond. Please note that a 12NiCAD battery is required, but not included with the backup box.

The battery backup box requires a 12NiCAD battery (not included). We recommend a 12V 22 or 26Amp/h Dry Power Battery or a 12V 18Amp/h Century battery.

How to Use

1. Choose a secure and weather-resistant location near your solar pump for the backup box.
2. Acquire a suitable 12NiCAD battery, such as a 12V 22 or 26Amp/h Dry Power Battery or a 12V 18Amp/h Century battery (not included).
3. Place the battery inside the backup box and secure the lid.
4. Connect the backup box to your solar pump’s battery terminal using the provided cables.
5. Switch on the solar pump and backup box to ensure the connection is working correctly and power is supplied during low light or nighttime conditions.
