Rotala Blood red is a popular stem plant that’s easily recognised due to its brilliant red. Most red aquarium plants require incredibly high lighting, Co2 injection and iron addition. Rotala Blood Red, however, only requires medium lighting. Without Co2 its colour will still be red but not as vibrant. It is new to Australia and fast growing making it a great attraction for the background of aquascapes.
