Rotala Rotundifolia “H’RA”
bunch 10-12 stems
Rotala rotundifolia ‘H’ra’ also known as Rotala ‘H’ra’ is a variant of dwarf Rotala native to Vietnam. This variety is a geographics variant that is known for its red stems, red, orange and green leaves and its creeping growth. Moderate light leads to an overall green coloration with red colored stems. It will develop pink-red coloration when high light is provided. It forms side shoots willingly and can become bushy, so can be propagated by placing the tops back into the substrate while trimming, but be careful when replanting as the stems can be quite fragile and can be easily broken. So to prevent this, you can use aquarium plant tweezers. It can reach upto maximum height of 4 to 8 inches. Like other stem plants, it enjoys good quality light, nutrients and proper CO2 supply. It belongs to Genus Rotala.
